Getting To Help Young Students On Their Journey.

As Long Island’s trusted supplier of custom doors and windows, we are passionate about architecture and home remodeling. We’re also avid supporters of the Long Island, NY architectural community.

That’s why we are proud donors to the Anthony DiSunno Scholarship fund.

It helps up-and-coming Long Island architecture students fund their valuable education, so they can give back to their community by designing stunning, state-of-the-art homes and buildings.

Here’s how it works:

1% Of Long Island Sales Goes Directly To The Scholarship Fund

We work closely with AIA Peconic, a non-profit organization that represents architects in Long Island. We’re not builders or designers ourselves, so architects are the superstars who keep our custom window and door business in motion.

The Anthony DiSunno Scholarship gives current and future architecture students the funding and help they need to thrive in this wonderful field.

That’s why we pledge 1% of all sales made through any of the AIA Peconic members we work with to the fund.,/p>

It supports local builders and industry leaders and gives us a chance to support the people who make our industry possible.

Plus, it’s not a bad way to drum up some extra business with every new Long Island architect that comes out of the program.

In 2023 We Raised TWICE Our Usual Amount (More Than $15 K!)

We started participating in the Anthony DiSunno Scholarship program back in 2019, and we’ve been raising money for them ever since.

We raised more than $7,000 in 2022 and more than $15,000 in 2023!

Doubling in one year was more than even we were expecting, and it means more money for young architects looking to make a name for themselves in Long Island, NY.

Nothing makes us happier than hearing that a recipient of the scholarship is now using our high-end, custom doors and windows to build stunning Hamptons homes.

A Friendly Competition For A Great Cause

We don’t just track how much money we raise. We break it down to see how much comes from each AIA member we work with.

Now we have a friendly competition going to see who can raise the most money for the Anthony DiSunno fund. We even have AIA Peconic architects reaching out to Rockman Windows & Doors to participate.

For a Long Island architect, helping young ambitious architecture students achieve their dreams is THE best reward.

At the end of the day, our business revolves around having a thriving architecture/building community. We set out to be Long Island’s trusted supplier of elite window and door products, but it’s the architects of tomorrow who will help keep our business alive.
