We Give Back To Our Architectural Communities
Because It’s The RIGHT Thing To Do
Helping Future Architects Realize Their Dreams
We sponsor many of the local AIA chapters and architects through traditional channels like Lunch And Learn CEUS’s, memberships, and event sponsorships. We even host regular casual credit sessions at our showrooms. But we’ve also found ways to be more creative.
One of the more untraditional ways we give back to Long Island’s architectural community is through a program we developed in 2019 for the AIA Peconic’s Anthony Disunnos Scholarship Fund.
A member of our architectural team gave us the idea to help the chapter with their mission of providing scholarships to local architecture students. That idea inspired us to develop a program to fund this scholarship. The local AIA members rallied for us, and the program really took off.
We decided to donate 1% of sales from qualifying orders to that scholarship fund.
We’re always looking for ways — both minor and major — to help out both current and future architects. Our goal is to participate and kickstart many more endeavors to enrich the architecture community.
We are Allied Members of local AIA Chapters
We also participate in more traditional ways to sponsor all the local AIA’s within our Service Areas. We proudly boast that all our Architectural and Territory Representatives are Allied Members of their local territory AIA Chapters – namely this includes AIA Westchester Hudson Valley, AIA Connecticut and AIA Peconic.
Allied Members of Local Builder Institutes
We support the local Builder communities by sponsoring our Project Managers as Allied Members to their local Builder Institute chapters. We have proud allied members in the Long Island Builders Institute and Builders Institute of Westchester and the Mid-Hudson region. Check out our Meet The Team page to see who is who.
